Arsonists peering out the windows, before and after throwing their cocktails at the ground below.

Arsonists are enemies encountered in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. They are found only in the Arabian themed levels High Time and Flaming Passion. These enemies hang from the balcony of their windows, throwing combustive cocktail-like bombs at Crash. Fortunately, it is possible to avoid the attack since they only toss the bombs in front of Crash and it leaves burning soot stains where the flames were. They can easily be defeated with Crash's bazooka or spin attack once they leave themselves vulnerable for an attack. They are also encountered in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. In this game, they could be defeated by jumping and spinning and also appeared in the Arabian levels.

Arsonists are similar the Beaker-Throwing Lab Assistants in behavior, throwing a projectile at Crash. However unlike the aforementioned assistants, the projectile lands onto a scorch mark and creates a small wall of fire that can be jumped over if your careful or have the Double Jump power up.

Example of the fire left behind by Arsonist cocktails. Note the similarity to Crash's height.

They can be disposed of easily by the use of the Fruit Bazooka, which makes speed running through levels much easier if you can shoot them before they throw their cocktail. They can also be spun although that is a risky tactic to use on most of them, due to the chasm between them and the path.

  • Due to Saudi Arabian culture, the Arsonists could be speculated to be female. As their clothing closely resembles a Niqab, a garment typically worn by Muslim women. Another speculation is that they are simply bandits of some form.
