The bandicoots are un-mutated bandicoots from Crash Bandicoot 2010. They were seen in the B-reel where

Dingodile tried to kidnap them, but Crash came to their rescue. It is possible Crash had to save more of them in the game, so they may have serve as collectables. Some are seen being contained in Cortex's Lab.
