If you feel that its only the size of the article which is the problem, use {{split|<reason for splitting>|<month/year posted>}} instead which will still categorize it under the same category but notify people that its only the size which is problematic. The size of the article can be checked by going into the page's history and looking under the newest revision. In general:

• 0 - 31 KB: Size alone does not justify division.
• 32 - 49 KB: May want to consider division (as older computers may have difficulty reading articles over 32 KB in size).
• 50 - 100 KB: Probably needs division (however, the scope of a topic may occasionally justify this).
• Over 100 KB: Almost definitely needs division.
