Barrel Roll (たるに あたるー！！ lit. Hit the Barrel!! in Japanese) is the ninth level in the game and the third level in the second warp room. It is also the second atlasphere level. Rather than playing as Crash, the playable character is Crunch. He must make his way past nitro crates, edges, and rolling barrels.

- This level's name is a pun on "barrel roll", a maneuver that can be carried out in certain aircraft, like in the airplane levels of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. The "barrel" is a reference to the many rolling hazards in the level, while the "roll" refers to the atlasphere's movement.
- Also, the title "Barrell Roll", is kind of a reference to a famous Star Fox phrase, "Do a Barrel Roll".
