Checkpoint Crate
From Bandipedia, the Crash Bandicoot wiki
This crate is very essencial and act as a savepoint for Crash Bandicoot. In Crash Bandicoot, all crates gotten before Crash got the Checkpoint Crates are put back in their original position. Basically, to get all the crates in a level, you can not die. In the rest of the games this problem is fixed due to the need to get gems. This crate has appeared as iron in Death Routes where there are no wooden crates. In Crash of the Titans they appear with checks instead of "C's".
