Coral Canyon (しんかいの なぞ lit. Deep Sea Mystery in Japanese) is the nineteenth level and is the fourth level of the fourth warp room of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. It is also the last underwater-themed level in the game. Like the other such levels in the game, there are a lot of sea creatures that are in Crash's way. He swims around and can also use the submarine during this level.
The PS2 version darkens the submarine section, meaning that the player must use the sub's light to see.
Coral can also appear on beaches, though there are none seen in this stage.
This level is the reverse of Sea Shell Shenanigans; Crash uses the submarine and then swims in this level, but in Sea Shell Shenanigans, Crash swims and then uses the sub.
This is often referred to as the hardest level of the game, due to the Submarine's large hitbox and the abundance of mines.
