Ebeneezer Von Clutch (voiced by Danny Mann in the English version and Hiroshi Ōtake in the Japanese version) is a cyborg who owns Von Clutch's MotorWorld. He has a German accent, and is a huge fan of racing, car crashes, and the Crash franchise (as shown in a scene in Crash Tag Team Racing, which breaks the fourth wall and leaves everyone confused).

He summoned everyone to the MotorWorld's main office room when they crash through the gate to help him find his Black Power Gem.

Crash and the rest of the Bandicoots helped Von Clutch find his Black Power Gem, the very power source that keeps him alive. It is revealed that Willy Wumpa Cheeks, the MotorWorld mascot, had stolen his Black Power Gem. Crash defeated Wumpa Cheeks in Astro Land and returned the Black Power Gem to Von Clutch, but in the end, Crash ended up knocking it back out of his stomach by giving him a friendly pat on the back, knocking him out. It is unknown what has happened to Von Clutch now as Crash Tag Team Racing was his first and only appearance; though Pasadena may have put it back.
