Fireballs are hazards appearing in several Crash Bandicoot games. They appear during the Jet Pack levels - Rock It and Pack Attack - in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and during Doctor Nefarious Tropy's boss fight from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Fireballs also appear as the weapons that Dingodile and Rilla Roo shoot from their tanks in the Tank War mini-game genre levels in Crash Bash. In Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, a huge fireball chases Crash Bandicoot in Crate Balls of Fire. In Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, a huge fireball chases Coco in Run from the Sun and Spaced Out.

Fireballs reappear in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remaster of Cortex Strikes Back in the level Rock It where they reprise the same role they had in the original version of the game.
