Fish are recurring enemies in the Crash series.

Flying fish are common enemies in levels Upstream and Up the Creek.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back

Robotic fish jump across the platforms in levels Hang Eight and Air Crash.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

Underwater Levels

Pufferfish appear in the underwater levels Under Pressure and Deep Trouble awaiting Crash. Harmless fish also appear in the backgrounds of these levels.

Dino Might!

A bandifish enemy appears in the prehistoric level Dino Might!.

Crash Bash

In Tilt Panic, fish periodically jump onto the ice luring a seal to then jump on and tilt the ice.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex

Sea Shell Shenanigans

Blue fish and anglerfish appear as standard side-sweep enemies throughout the level.

Banzai Bonsai

A red koi fish will jump out of the water in an attempt to attack Coco.

H2 Oh No

Lionfish, and Blue fish appear in the first underwater portion of the level as enemies. Later in the walking portion of the level there is an out of water fish enemy.


Out of water fish are enemies in this level. Carts and barrels of dead fish are part of the background as well.

Coral Canyon

Lion fish, Blue fish and Angler fish along with octopus tentacles appear as enemies.

Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure

The pufferfish serve the same purpose and look the same way they did in Warped.

Crash Twinsanity

In N. Sanity Island (Hub), fish spout out of a geyser. They hold no threat and act as a rather pointless enemy. Later in the level Ice Climb, Cortex gets into an argument with the penguins and tries to bargain with a fish.

Flying swordfish resembling planes and pink piranhas were meant to make an appearance in Crash Twinsanity yet they never made the final cut.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Flying fish and Robotic fish reappear in the remastered versions of the first and second games of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy respectively.
