The Gold Relic is a type of Relic in the Crash Bandicoot series that first appeared in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. Not to be mistaken with the keys from the original Crash Bandicoot, Gold Relics are the second-best achievement in the Crash Bandicoot games, better than the Sapphire Relic, but lesser valued than the Platinum Relic. The Gold Relics are required within most of the Crash Bandicoot games, like Warped and Crash Team Racing, to unlock various levels or other parts of the game. The Gold Relics are more common than Platinum Relics, being more easily achieved within the series.
