Lizards are common enemies that first debuted in Crash Bandicoot. The lizards are green in nature and

appear in The Lost City and Sunset Vista and these looks like more Central Bearded Dragons and Frill-necked Lizards. When Crash first encounters these enemies, they are walking on all four legs. However, there are variants that stand on their hind legs and start hopping around across the screen. The lizards will only jump in certain areas in the level, so Crash can memorize their path and try to avoid them. There are certain areas in the level where the lizards will jump over chasms, which causes the player to time their jumps when passing the lizards. The lizards can be defeated by either spinning them away, or by jumping on them. There are certain points in the level where Crash must use the lizards as a trampoline to reach higher platforms and bonus tokens. Lizards play a brief role in Crash of the Titans, where they are seen crawling around on trees on the side of the level.
