Papu Papu's Hut is a hut in a tribal village belonging to Papu Papu. He has been known to reside here in Crash Bandicoot, Crash Twinsanity, and the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remake of the first game.

Appearances[]

Crash Bandicoot[]

Papu Papu's hut serves as the arena for Crash's first boss fight of the game and, overall, the entire series. It is decorated with torches and a wooden throne where Papu Papu is found, sleeping. The hut contains no other furniture.

Crash Bandicoot (manga)[]

Papu Papu and his hut also appear in the manga adaptation of the first game. Crash is launched through the roof of the hut by an explosion, landing right on top of Papu Papu. The hut itself is mostly similar to its appearance in the game with its rounded floor, but it is much simpler in design, with the torches and throne missing. Unlike the game, the hut contains Aku Aku Crates, which Crash uses to briefly become invincible.

Crash Twinsanity[]

Papu Papu's hut reappears in Twinsanity in the level Totem Hokum. Papu Papu is inside, asleep in his chair, and will not wake up. It appears mostly the same as it did before, though the torches are gone.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy[]

Papu Papu's hut reappears in the N. Sane Trilogy remake of the first game, where it reprises the same purpose it had in the original version.
