Papu Papu's Hut is a hut in a tribal village belonging to Papu Papu. He has been known to reside here in Crash Bandicoot and Twinsanity, and one can presume that he also resides here during the events of all games in which he doesn't appear, though as no in-game evidence to support this fact has surfaced, it is plausible that he might also be spending this time in his summer home.
Papu Papu's hut serves as the arena for Crash's first boss fight of the game - and, overall, the entire series. It is lavishly decorated with torches and a wooden throne. This throne appears to be where Papu Papu sleeps, presumably because if he were to lie down in a bed, he would never get up because he is so fat. The lack of any other furniture seems to be a practical choice, to facilitate his battle strategy of swinging around his giant native staff.
Papu Papu's hut reappears in Twinsanity, accessible as an Easter egg. When the player enters it, Papu Papu is inside, asleep in his chair, and he will never wake up, so the player is free to have their way with him. It appears mostly the same as it did before, though he appears to have done away with the torches, perhaps because he did not want to risk burning his house down, as fire burns wood. This is unconfirmed, however. The hut is now much more different than what it was in the previous game.

Seeing as his tribe apparently has the ability to construct fortresses, it is unknown why Papu Papu himself only lives in a simple one-story one-room hut, unlike most video game villains, including Neo Cortex, who live in castles. Some fans speculate that this is because he simply does not have a lot of money; if this is true, the absence of his lovely torches in Twinsanity might be because he had to sell them to pay the bills.
