Pura, as he appears in Crash Bandicoot 3

Pura is a ridable character in the Crash Bandicoot series. In Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, he is introduced. In Chinese levels, Coco Bandicoot can ride him like Crash rides Polar in Crash Bandicoot 2. He is a cuddly, cute and tiny tiger cub. He is best friend with Coco, and enjoys basking in the warm China heat.

In Crash Team Racing, Pura is seen as resting when Nitros Oxide came to Earth. Pura's kart has one of the best turning abilities.

Pura would later be a racer again, in Crash Nitro Kart. But, N. Trance kidnapped him and brainwashed him in this game, along with Polar and Dingodile. Pura can be unlocked as a playable character.

Pura's latest appearance was in Crash Boom Bang. Here, he wore clothes and can walk on two legs.

  • Pura was originally intended to be a panda bear in Crash 3, but it was too similar to Polar who is a polar bear, so Pura finally became a tiger.
  • Pura made a small cameo in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. He is seen building a sandcastle while Aku-Aku was resting.
  • In CTR, if the player selects an unlockable character in arcade mode, Pura gets taken out of the race (whilst all other characters race).
