The Thumpin' Wumpa Islands is an unlockable chapter in Skylanders: Imaginators, and is a crossover between the Crash Bandicoot series and the Skylanders series. During the Synchronisation Celebration, where Wumpa Island is aligned with Skylands, Dr. Neo Cortex plans to use the rhythmic nature of Wumpa Island to power his Cortex Matrix Chamber and make an unstoppable army. However, Fake Crash hi-jacks his machine and starts dancing poorly, causing Bad Vibes to appear around the island and threaten to shatter it. The Skylanders must defeat Fake Crash in the machine at the end of the level in order to complete it.

When the Crash content in Skylanders was announced, most of the gaming community claimed that the Skylanders appearence would ruin the entire Crash franchise, like it did with Spyro (at least, as a general opinnion). After revealing some details, like the content following a formula similar to Bowser and Donkey Kong's content from Superchargers, and the development by Vicarious Visions, the reactions got better.
As for this day, the Crash content in Skylander has mixed thoughts: Some consider it a great guest appearence, with a lot of hearth on it, while others think that this didn't have to exist.
The spanish fanbase got the worst reaction from this, except from minor cases like the Youtubers Laripper10 and other unpopular ones.
The fans that played the level, praised all the references and Easter Eggs to all the periods of the Crash franchise, and the voice acting.
- The tribesmen reappear in this level as non-playable characters.
