The tribesmen are a group of people who work for Papu Papu. Their first appearance was in Crash Bandicoot.  Their latest appearence Crash Twinsanity when they kidnapped Cortex under the orders of Papu Papu. But Crash eventually saves him from their clutches. You see them at the start of the game when they are armed with spears. Their appearance has stayed relatively the same in all of their appearances. By Twinsanity, they seem to be more advanced, as they are seen with binoculars and boats.
