Congratulations! You won a trophy!
Trophies are used in racing-themed Crash games, as well as Crash Bash.
In Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, and the Nitro-Fueled remake of Crash Team Racing, trophies are obtained by finishing in first place in a trophy race. Collecting all four trophies in each area (three in Nitro Kart) opens up the boss for that area.
After gaining a trophy from one race, another one will open (with the exception of starting with two open when the player first enters an area).
In Crash Bash, trophies are obtained by winning an event three times. Trophies are needed to progress through the game.
Crash Team Racing's trophy also makes a cameo in the Bandicoot House in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex.
In Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!, trophies are items used to support your team. The goal of each season is to gather as many trophies as possible, with the team with the highest number of trophies between them at the top. Trophies are also used to obtain individual rewards from the season pass, with new prizes being given whenever a certain number of trophies are collected. Trophies can be earned by completing survival runs, breaking trophy crates when battling henchmen or bosses, completing Aku Aku's quests, completing various missions in the Mission Board and earning mojo or by redeeming steps or Wumpa Fruit at the Tiki Head at Coco's Base. During the open beta period, trophies were known as Crash Points.
