A vulture in Crash 2. The Vulture is a recurring enemy in the Crash Bandicoot games. They first appear in Slippery Climb and Stormy Ascent from Crash Bandicoot 1. They act as platforms that Crash must jump on to progress through the level. In the level, they hover up and down. If the game is completed 100% and the player walks through the secret path of The Great Hall, an alternative version of the vulture can be seen, carrying Crash Bandicoot and Tawna away. Some vultures in this game give out Wumpa Fruit when jumped on.
They made their next appearance in
Cortex Strikes Back in levels such as Turtle Woods. They swoop down on the player. Vultures also appear in The Wrath Of Cortex with the same role as before.
They made their final appearance in
The Huge Adventure/XS. They do the same thing as in Crash 2.
